{"id":5705,"date":"2021-02-16T10:59:55","date_gmt":"2021-02-16T15:59:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pour3points.ca\/?p=5705"},"modified":"2021-11-26T10:57:44","modified_gmt":"2021-11-26T15:57:44","slug":"pour-3-points-partners-with-cf-montreal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pour3points.ca\/en\/pour-3-points-partners-with-cf-montreal\/","title":{"rendered":"Pour 3 Points partners with CF Montr\u00e9al"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfmontreal.com\/en\/post\/2021\/02\/16\/cf-montr%C3%A9al-partners-pour-3-points\">Official CF Montr\u00e9al press release<\/a> &#8211;<\/p>\n<p><strong>MONTREAL<\/strong> \u2013 CF Montr\u00e9al announced on Tuesday a partnership with non-profit organization Pour 3 Points, to strengthen the Club\u2019s involvement in its community and social engagements.<\/p><p>CF Montr\u00e9al will benefit from the knowledge and expertise of Pour 3 Points to continue its social impact, while Pour 3 Points will be able to use CF Montr\u00e9al\u2019s platforms and reputation to promote their mission across the sports world.<\/p><p>\u201cPartnering with Pour 3 Points allows us to bring our community initiatives to the next level,\u201d said CF Montr\u00e9al director of community relations, V\u00e9ronique Fortin. \u201cThey do wonderful work with their coaches and youth. Their reputation and expertise are invaluable assets. It\u2019s a natural partnership as we both use sport as a driver for change, while considering ourselves to be open and innovating organizations.\u201d<\/p><p><strong>VIRTUAL CONFERENCE WITH THIERRY HENRY AND HIS ASSISTANTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of Black History Month, CF Montr\u00e9al and Pour 3 Points are organizing a free virtual conference on February 25 at 6:30pm, available on the Club\u2019s website, <a href=\"http:\/\/cfmontreal.com\/\">cfmontreal.com<\/a>.<\/p><p>The conference will highlight the contributions of black coaches in the lives of athletes, youth, and their communities. Head coach Thierry Henry and his assistants Wilfried Nancy, Kwame Ampadu and Patrice Bernier will take part in this special conference hosted by Fabrice Vil, founder of Pour 3 Points.<\/p><p>\u201cThe fact that the coaching staff of a professional soccer team is made up mostly of black coaches is a strong symbol for youth of all backgrounds throughout society,\u201d explains Fabrice Vil. \u201cFurthermore, many black coaches from different levels support the communities in which they work, and not just at the sporting level. It\u2019s important to recognize that.\u201d<\/p><p>As a non-profit organization, Pour 3 Points\u2019 mission is social equality in favour of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
